Where it began
Andrea Lo launched Toronto Dating Hub in May 2020 during the pandemic with a mission to help GTA singles and to transform the way singles meet.
Her sold-out events feature fun dating discussions and themed group activities. Toronto Dating Hub is one of few female and BIPOC-owned dating event companies in Toronto, regularly supporting local businesses to offer unique activities like dance or treetop trekking.
In fact, Toronto Dating Hub was the FIRST-ever to introduce jet ski and e-scooter speed dating events! Andrea runs this business entirely on her own as a side hustle, she has never failed to deliver exceptional events every month during the pandemic since she started, whether virtual or in-person.
Toronto Dating Hub has been featured in the Toronto Star, CBC News, and Flow 93.5. Andrea continues to build Toronto Dating Hub to be the city’s premier resource for singles - expanding their services to include date coaching, profile makeovers, photoshoots, and matchmaking.

Meet Andrea
With over 15 years of experience in marketing, event planning, and business management - Andrea Lo has worked at various marketing agencies producing campaigns for many big brands such as Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Health Canada, Metrolinx, FCA Canada (Jeep), Arterra Wines, Kijiji, and The Home Depot.
Andrea is an entrepreneur - the founder, host, and dating coach of Toronto Dating Hub, offering singles events & dating coaching services, which was featured on CBC News, Toronto Star and Flow 93.7. As part of her events company, Toronto Event Hub, Andrea organizes & hosts 3-8 social events per month which includes game night socials, professional networking events, and unique singles events.
She also volunteers her time for U of T Scarborough (her alma mater) and for various non-profit groups & fundraising galas, as well as the co-organizer of the Toronto Entrepreneurs & Startups (TES) Facebook group (with over 10,000 members).
